Longtime Civic Leader and DTC Member Alton Brooks served as Chairman of the 5th Congressional District Convention in Waterbury on Monday as delegates from New Britain and 40 other towns in a congressional district inclusive of Central Connecticut and the Northwest Hills re-nominated Cong. Elizabeth Esty for a new term.
“There is a lot at stake in the 2016 election, up and down the ticket, and we must unite around our shared values: expanding economic and educational opportunities, keeping our country safe, and standing with our veterans and military families,” said Esty before the nominating convention.
