The 2011 municipal election is little more than 50 days away and your support of the Democratic Town Committee’s voter turnout efforts are needed now to elect a Democratic Mayor and a slate of candidates that reflects New Britain’s diversity and strengths.
Tim O’Brien, our mayoral nominee, is a strong, seasoned and capable individual who is ready to lead the city to a better place in terms of economic development, creating a quality education, preserving our natural assets and reducing the burdens of regressive taxes.
Last winter the victories of State Senator Terry Gerratana and State Rep. Bob Sanchez in a special election required one of the strongest organizational efforts ever waged by the Town Committee.
We need to replicate that effort for the November 8th city election to encourage greater citizen participation in deciding who governs local government.
Your contribution now can help New Britain Democrats build a strong party and an effective voter turnout campaign in the upcoming election. Click here for a party_committee_contribution form.
AND PLEASE JOIN US ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 22ND FROM 5 TO 7 P.M. FOR THE KICK OFF OF OUR CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS AT 19 BASSETT STREET (Opposite the school apartments).
